Do you bill to Insurance Companies?

Yes! We bill direct to Canada Life, Manulife, Sunlife, Blue Cross and Claim Secure, MPI and WCB

Do you need a referral to see a Physiotherapist?

We do not require a referral, however, some insurance companies do, and we encourage you to check with your insurance company to see if your plan requires one.

How long are the appointments?

The first appointment is approximately an hour long and subsequent treatments are 45 minutes.

I have never been to Physio before, what can I expect?

Check out our What to Expect page to find out more.

What do I need to bring to the appointment?

Please bring or wear appropriate clothing.  We usually ask that you don’t wear tight-fitting clothing.  You may bring a pair of shorts or sweatpants and a t-shirt to the appointment, depending on which area we are treating.  Sometimes we may ask you to bring your running shoes as well.

Why do you need to know what type of medications I take?

Physiotherapists take into account your overall health to put together the most appropriate treatment plan for you.

Different medications can affect your treatment plan; such as changing how long your injury takes to heal or lowering your tolerance to exercise.

Medication side effects can also cause some common symptoms we see in the clinic, so knowing the medication you take helps with diagnosing your problem.
